ITI announces Gold level sponsorship at UK Intelligent Engineering Forum

Cambridge, UK, 5 January 2017 – International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), the global leader providing reliable interoperability, validation and migration solutions for product data and related systems, is pleased to participate in the cutting edge industry event UK Intelligent Engineering Forum (UKIEF) as Gold Partner.

Brought together by Intrinsys, the UKIEF event aims to help the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform user community in the UK get the most from their CAD and PLM solutions. ITI offers featured based CAD migration to CATIA V5 for this community, and supports PLM migrations. ITI representatives will be on hand to discuss the implementation of Model Based Enterprise (MBE) through the use of ITI’s CADIQ, CAD model quality and validation solution, as well as DrawtoPMI, an automated solution to move 2D CATIA drawings to 3D CATIA parts with all Product Manufacturing Information (PMI).

By automatically combining legacy 3D CATIA part and 2D drawing files, DrawtoPMI saves months of manual work.

“We have supported many customers in migrating to CATIA and have supported their MBD validation,” said Andy Chinn, ITI’s UK Commercial Director. “We look forward to supporting the UKIEF Forum in its second year. Product innovation dictates that manufacturers embrace Industry 4.0 design innovations, making product data even more complex. Thus, quality and validation of PMI across the model based enterprise is mission critical,” continued Chinn.

“Seeing first-hand Dassault’s 3DEXPERIENCE real time business analytics capability and the way it incorporates the latest developments in additive manufacturing that enable industry 4.0 revealed the potential this new era in product design and manufacturing present,” stated Michael Hegarty, UKIEF event manager. “ITI solutions fill a critical need for model quality and validation, and other aspects of interoperability, especially as we look to Industry 4.0. This event is an excellent fit.”

About UKIEF

UK Intelligent Engineering Forum (UKIEF) combines latest engineering software, inspirational speakers, and implementation experts with the opportunity to network with other professionals managing their own Intelligent Engineering systems. Unlike other events, registered delegates have the opportunity to deep-dive into the interactive software within enterprise PLM with insight directly from the software representatives.

UKIEF 2017, hosted by Intrinsys, Dassault Systèmes leading UK Value Solutions Partner, will address the challenges and opportunities posed by Industry 4.0 and illustrate how the 3DEXPERIENCE platform provides the ideal software backbone and Intelligent Engineering the delivery mechanism of choice.
