Milford, Ohio, 9 March 2016 – International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), the global leader providing reliable interoperability, validation and migration solutions for product data and related systems, is pleased to announce that Tony Provencal has assumed a new role as Technical Sales Director at ITI. In this newly created position, Provencal will lead a team of customer support personnel and industry thought leaders.

“At ITI, we’ve always focused on solving customer problems. We take pride in the technical support we offer our customers,” stated Tom Gregory, CEO. “We know that our customers benefit most when technical insights are offered early in the conversation. As we continue to grow, moving Tony to this new role was a natural organizational change to formalize an activity that was being handled informally. This move helps enhance the confidence our customers already have in ITI.”

Customer needs are best served when their challenges can be anticipated, when their unique requirements are understood, when implementation concerns can be assuaged, and when questions are answered quickly and accurately. With hands-on engineering expertise, a Technical Sales Director helps to make a sales team more responsive. “Tony is a well-known expert in the industry, possessing extensive experience and insights. Recently, he has been closely involved with the updates to our Proficiency and CADIQ solutions. His knowledge of our technology and services will help ITI to stay ahead of its rapid growth, by helping our consultative sales professionals continue their proactive response to customer needs,” added Jamie Flerlage, EVP Global Business Development.

“This is an ideal role for me,” commented Tony Provencal, Technical Sales Director. “Engineering (CAD) data is more complex than ever, and it is a big challenge to move it efficiently and accurately between systems, and the people that need it. In my engineering experience, requirements definition and the anticipation of obstacles are just as critical as the technology when the goal is to save time and money. I look forward to helping our customers continue to solve complex engineering problems.”
