Interoperability

What is interoperability?

The definition of interoperability is the ability of a system, software or product to exchange and make use of information with other systems, software or products without special effort on the part of the user. For two systems to be interoperable, they must be able to exchange data and subsequently present that data such that it can be understood by a user.
