Milford, Ohio, 23 March 2016 – International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), the global leader providing reliable interoperability, validation and migration solutions for product data and related systems, is pleased to announce recent promotions within the company’s European team.

Andy Chinn has been promoted to Commercial Director for the ITI Cambridge UK office. Andy will continue to lead direct sales and be responsible for distributor management within Europe and Asia. Andy joined the company in 1994 and has operated in various technical and commercial capacities, including CADfix support and product manager, before focusing on commercial activities. “No other company has the level of experience and focused approach to solving interoperability solutions than ITI. It is rewarding to be part of such a strong team and to hear customers say how CADfix helps them integrate their CAD and CAE process to reduce costs and time, how Proficiency was pivotal for their corporate CAD migration project, or how CADIQ validation helps ensure that they can trust the integrity of their model data,” stated Chinn. His commitment to customer success has been key to ITI’s growth in the European market. Andy will continue to work with ITI’s evolving customer base, particularly in the aerospace and automotive industries.

Mark Gammon, has been promoted to Technical Director and CADfix Product Manager, and will continue to focus his attention on ensuring the ITI CADfix interoperability solution delivers the latest breakthroughs in 3D geometry processing to ITI’s customers and partners. With 22 years’ experience across the full spectrum of technical development, Mark leads the CADfix product development team as they tackle some of the toughest 3D geometry issues affecting industry. Recently, Mark’s direction led to the successful approval of a second EU R&D project (Symbionica) enabling the ITI CADfix team to bring their unique geometry processing skills into the exciting field of additive manufacturing. “At ITI we are constantly developing disruptive technologies that will enable our customers to get ahead of the competition, particularly when it comes to the increasingly critical challenge of effective use of 3D product data,” added Gammon.

Tina McEwan, now Finance Director, supports the ITI Cambridge team and customers, ensuring smooth and timely processing of critical project documentation. Tina joined ITI Europe in July 2014. Having trained as Chartered Accountant and worked with EY (formerly Ernst & Young) for many years, Tina has supported many high-tech and biotech companies in achieving their growth ambitions. Tina has applied the knowledge and experience gained during her time with EY in a number of Finance Director roles with Cambridge-based high-tech companies where she was responsible for Finance, HR and IT, driving a number of change management projects as well as funding initiatives.

“I see these appointments as a significant recognition of the impressive performance of all three in their respective roles in our company over many years.” commented Geoff Butlin, CEO and Chairman of ITI’s UK subsidiary, International TechneGroup Limited. “I would like to add that, in all the years of this company’s life, I have never felt as comfortable with all these areas of delegation of management responsibility as I am today. Indeed, I have never felt as proud of our whole team as I am today.”

“ITI’s growth in Europe is directly tied to the efforts and dedication of the Cambridge team,” commented Tom Gregory, CEO. “We anticipate continued growth in the coming year, especially in the areas of geometry pre-processing for FEA, CFD, additive manufacturing, and plant and process applications. CAD validation opportunities for ITI in Europe have also increased as more global manufacturers embrace a Model-Based Enterprise (MBE). We are confident that our European team will continue to expand ITI’s business and deliver superior customer support.”
